Asset Inspection

The Asset Inspection app is an effective inventory tool which can document asset location, asset type, and asset condition. This app should be used when damage is discovered and when damage is repaired, as well as at the agency's routine inspection interval. The app collects data on a location, so asset history is determined by the history of a location. When properly implemented, the asset history can display the date of each inspection , along with the type of asset, the asset condition, and a photograph from the inspection.

This app is map based and lets the inspector select the geographical location of the asset from an interactive map which is capable of automatically locating the inspectors device. Once the location is selected, the inspector is provided a form for the collection of pertinent data as it relates to the asset under inspection. The form can easily be adapted to collect hardware specific inspection data.
