App based technology can be used for the collection of roadside hardware inspection data. Roadsafe has experience developing apps for the inspection of these types of assets. This site presents apps that are designed to assess the extent of damage to W-beam guardrail systems as well as apps that are designed to track the inventory and status of guardrail end treatments. These apps provide inspection guidelines and documentation in order to facilitate a robust asset inspection program. We have worked with manufactures of proprietary roadside hardware in order to develop inspection apps for those hardware. We develop apps that document asset location, asset type, installed condition, and condition through time.
